The Art of Cold Processed Soap Making 101 is a beginning level soap making class. The focus of this class is an introduction and hands-on experience of making soap with the “cold process” method. Students will work in teams of 2 and make 2 cold processed soaps scented with essential oils (optional). You will learn the history of Colonial soap making and make soap with modern day methods. Students will leave with finished products, instruction booklet, and the skill to make other soaps, just in time to make more for holiday gifts. All equipment will be provided for you in class; goggles, gloves. This class is recommended by the instructor for ages 18 and older, if you have any allergies to scents, this is not a class for you. Essential oils will be available for you to use if you would like to add to your soaps. Registration required, class size limited to 10 students.

Supplies Needed: Bring or wear an old long sleeve shirt and pants to class.  Must have closed-toed shoes, no sandals or crocs.

Materials Fee: $30.00 payable to the instructor in class for all materials, supplies, resource packet and more.

You must purchase an admission ticket to attend a class.
